Olympic Waterpolo Teams

Twelve men’s water polo teams have qualified for the Beijing Olympics and have been divided into two groups of six teams each. Group A teams Australia, Canada, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro and Spain will meet each other in round-robin play, as will Group B teams China, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Serbia and the United States.  The top finisher in each group will qualify automatically for a semifinal match and await the winners of two quarterfinal matches contested between the second and third-place teams.  For the Olympic schedule, click here.
