I woke up this morning to a serious downpour. It rained hard all morning, and it was supposed to rain all day, so I decided to go ahead and check out the course even though I knew it would be muddy.

We arrived in Frankfurt, Germany on Thursday and drove from there down to Houffalize. This year, instead of staying at a hotel we rented a house in the nearby village of Bertogne. My mom and Bo are here too- they decided to come over to see the first 2 world cups and it has been really fun having them around.

I have a reoccurring nightmare. I am on the beach and storm clouds roll in. A wave is building and building out at sea. It comes closer and closer and is sweeping up people, trees and all in its path. Now it is on the beach and right on top of me, taller than the highest skyscraper. And then I wake up.
