Eight baseball teams have qualified for the Beijing Olympics. Each team, including defending gold medal winner Cuba, will play seven round-robin games before the top four teams advance to the medal round. Asia will feature four teams in South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Japan and host China. The United States makes its first Olympic appearance since it won gold in 2000.
